How We Work
We want to know your business. You will work with a designer from our team. To learn more about your business, we will schedule a phone interview in which we will gather information needed about the business, and the functions you want for your website.
Website hosting and platform. If you already have web hosting, we will need access to your hosting account to host your website. Your website will be created using the WordPress platform. If you do not have a web host we will set up hosting for you.
Design and development stage. During the design and development stage, we will submit mockups and a live copy of your website through the process. The mockups and a live copy will be submitted to you for your edits. Once we receive your edits we will make the changes and complete your website design.
Lift off! After you approve the final live design, we will then launch it live on your domain. This is the lift off and you are now ready to share your website that helps your business grow with the world!
Faq's
We will learn about your business and the type of website you want and need. You will also provide us (if you wish) examples of websites that you like. We will then use this and other information about your business and brand to build a website to your specifications and that you like.
The length of time is usually 30-45 days from the time we start to build the site to launch. The faster we have your specifications and information for your site, the faster your site will be ready.
We build all of our websites on WordPress. It is one of the most versatile platforms, completely customizable, almost any functionality can be integrated with WordPress and it is designed for growing businesses, meaning that it grows as your business grows.
You will have more than one opportunity to revise and create a list of edits for your site as we progress through the build stage. We collaborate with you to ensure that you are happy with the final product.
We will not take down your existing website until the new website is finished, approved by you and a launch date fixed. The new website is developed on a private, temporary URL. If you don’t have an existing website, we will put a coming soon landing page up on your website URL while we develop your new site.
It is highly recommended that maintenance is in place once the website is finished. We can maintain it for you with updates of your website’s core files and plugins, along with offsite backups to ensure that if your site has any issues, you always have a clean copy of your site.
